VSB – Technical University of Ostrava (CZ) is the third biggest technical university in Czech Republic and it has more then 150 years of experience in education in various branches if engineering and safety. In 1990 – 2002 some new faculties were founded, among them Faculty of Safety Engineering and Faculty of Electric Engineering and Informatics. Today, the university consists of seven faculties and several university departments and it has about 20.000 students.
